Top celebrity stylist Rachel Zoe is Piperlime’s resident style maven. I’m quite sure her presence there has drove sales up. Who wouldn’t want to take Rachel’s fashion advice anyway?

Rachel Zoe

Rachel lends her styling genius to Piperlime and picks the top pieces to own this season. Guess what she chose for essential sandals this summer? Jeweled ones, what else?

Known for her fondness of anything gold and sparkly, it is not surprising that Rachel pick these.

Mystique 1641 Turquoise Sandals, $155

Mystique 1644 Turquoise Sandals, $144

Mystique 1805 Sandals, $115

These sandals are sure to go well with her apparel picks.

Channel the utilitarian look in this olive green Central Park West Nairobi Utility Romper, $174. Or you can go dainty in watercolor prints with the Tibi Leiticia Ruffle Dress, $298. Another good option is to don this season’s hottest chambray shade with the 7 For All Mankind High Waist Ruffle Dress, $189.

Reese Witherspoon is not only toting a new boyfriend lately but a new satchel and a new pair of embellished thong sandals as well! Though her new man is as hot as her spotted Chloe satchel, they are not the reason behind this post. Okay since were at it already, her new man is Jim Toth. The Hollywood talent agent is not bad looking at all but (I still wouldn’t dump Jake Gyllenhaal, if I were Reese).

The new man and the new bag aside, let us look closely at Reese’s thong sandals.

I have not ID’ed the pretty pair but it looks quite like this.

Ciao Bella Serenity Thong Sandals, $58

And it was so easy to get carried away with Reese’s relaxed chic look that I came up with this.

Channel Reese’s chic grocery look in this Beyond Vintage Embroidered blouse, $189 with a pair of olive shorts from Joe’s Jeans, $106. Polish your look with the Ciao Bella Serenity Sandals, $58 and the Nine West Melanie Large Convertible Shopper, $99.

The Hills star was hard to miss at the recently concluded MTV Movie Awards. She shimmered the red carpet in a sequined one-sleeve dress by CD Greene and paired it with nothing less than a Giuseppe Zanotti embellished creation.

Audrina Patridge

(Photo c/o people.com)

The result? I think a little overdone. But she managed to pull if off so we can cut her some slack here. The look is fun and appropriate anyway.

Now let us talk about those shoes. Again, only the master himself can blend together metal and jewels without a hitch.

Giuseppe Zanotti Sandals, $979.20 from $1360

I need not say much about this beauty. Its oozing with gorgeousness that I personally think you don’t need a sequin dress like that of Audrina’s  to stand out. All you need, if you ask me, is a chic little black dress and minimal accessories for a look that’s papparazzi worthy!

Wear the Giuseppe sandals with this.

Three Dots Cap Sleeve dress, $98

Add this.

Calvin Klein Pearlized Snake Clutch, $118

With these three items you won’t get heavy on metal but heavy on style!

We have witnessed how Katie Holmes matured from her tomboyish Dawson’s Creek days to chic and sophisticated Mrs. Cruise. I didn’t really give much attention to her pre-Tom days as I found her style (or lack there of) blah. But fast forward to the infamous whirlwind romance, a darling baby, and several years of blissful marriage after, she has blossomed into a chic, confident, and stylish woman.

At the recent Tony Awards, she wowed the audience in an elegant strapless gunmetal gown by Armani Privé. She kept everything else at the minimum with just a quilted purse and a pair of subtly jeweled sandals.

I love Katie’s look here. It’s so understated chic. The kind of look that only a handful of Hollywood stars have mastered. If you love Katie’s total ensemble at the Tony’s, then you might find what I put together useful.

A Rachel Pally strapless dress, $251 is just what you need to channel Katie’s minimalist look.

Complete it with quilted Kate Spade Lauralee purse, $265 and a pair of Nina Cara jeweled sandals, $89.95.

For a more casual take, you can also try this look for the day.

Start your day right with a Splendid T-shirt dress, $103. Stylishly lug your day essentials in a Timi & Lesley bag, $173.99 (which can also double as a diaper bag) and polish your look with this Guess jeweled thong sandals, $69.95.

Cameron Diaz is every bit of a California girl gone glam. I have always liked her sense of style. It’s never over done. Her fashion choices almost always speak of her personality may it be on the Red Carpet or at LAX.

Cameron Diaz at Los Angeles Airport

Her jet-set style is simple yet stylish. A sheer top worn over a tank paired with denim capris is casual. But when finished off with a pop of green in a handbag, some serious red lipstick, a pair of movie star shades and gorgeous jeweled sandals in bronze, is all together a winner look.

No impractical towering heels for this lady when traveling. A pair of toe ring sandals adorned with simple jewels is enough. If you want to get Cameron’s look, try these  3 jeweled  beauties.

Matisse McKee Thong Sandals, $92.25

Kenneth Cole Reaction Shell Beach Thong Sandals, $53.10 from $59

Madden Girl Amithyst Sandals, $49.95

Wear any of the above with this.

Joe’s Jeans Kicker Jeans, $167

And this.

Joie Kingston Sheer Linen Top, $115 from $162

Finish off with any of these.

Steven Totally Tote, $225

Marc by Marc Jacobs Classic Q Baby Aidan, $458

Who says its hard to look like a movie star? Just take some cues from Cameron. Add some red lipstick and a little bit of attitude,  and viola, a stylish movie star in you!

One of the most interesting trend this season is putting together a print against a print. Such is tricky and needs one dose creativity and 2 doses, confidence. If you wanna try this trend, be guided by this short walk through on how to mix prints finished off by a nice pair of jeweled sandals.

The easiest way to get around this tricky trend is to stick to prints of the same color family.

Try this floral blouse with

Elie Tahari Frida Blouse

this striped skirt.

French Connection Promenade Stripe Skirt

The blouse will look good tucked or untucked. This graphic combination will go well together because they are from they same color palette. They will mix well instead of clash.

Finish off your in-the-moment look with this beautifully jeweled platform sandals.

Vince Camuto Emily Platform Sandals

This once fashion no, no is now a big trend and if you have the guts to don it then I encourage you to do so. Prints are fun! Go ahead and have some!

In the same ranks as the clogs, lace, and the bold wedges, the jeweled sandals are a must-have spring footwear especially among the stars. Case in point, Malin Akerman’s Miu Miu pair at this recent sighting of her.

(Photo c/o people.com)

Her little black dress was given an instant glam lift by her jeweled sandals, an act easily accomplished by a nice pair of jeweled sandals. If you’re in the market for this spring must-have, I have some good suggestions for you.

Giuseppe Zanotti Jeweled Heels

This pair is simply perfection. The tan color and the beautiful colored ornaments are so in-season. Picture an all-white chic outfit finished off with this beauty. The only drawback? This pair is a tad bit on the high side. But fret not, I have several other options for you!

Jessica Bennet Lionel Jeweled Platform Sandals

This platform number seems to have spring written all over it, don’t you think so? I like the contrast of the stones against the croc-embossed leather. This would look stunning paired with dresses short or long. And you will love the tag price on this one too!

Carlos Santana Tango Sandals

This might be a good choice if you want something that can last you until Fall. The bronze color is a classic and the beautifully set bead detail knows no season, for me at least. The price is not bad too.

Kate Spade Glam Sandals

If your style is eclectic, then you might like this one. The nice mix of materials such as the stone, raffia, leather with whip stitch details is one an eclectic fashionista will surely appreciate.

Vince Camuto Clarkson T-Strap Sandals

For something that you can use for day and night, this Vince Camuto pair is a good option. The suede material speaks evening but the chunky heels say they can go out during the day too!

Mother’s Day is just around the corner and so is summer! What better gift can you give your mom on this day specially dedicated to her than a pair of comfortable and stylish jeweled sandals? I preselected some pieces and saved you the trouble of having to look online for the perfect pair.

Apeppaza Ambra Wedges

This creation from Apeppaza is great for moms who don’t mind wearing some extra height. The leather upper and platform wedges of this piece undoubtedly gives comfort and the jewels, style.

Matisse Zimbia Sandals

These Matisse sandals are not as high as the former which I think makes it manageable for moms who want some height and yet are wise enough to leave the sky high ones to the younger generation. This pair features beautiful brown stones nicely contrasting the black leather. The whip stitch completes the look.

Clarks Laguna Sandals

This pair speaks style and comfort, just what your mom is craving for! The height is just right. The full grain upper will mold to her feet and the additional cushioning on the foot bed is a plus. The neutral color and the weaved wedge definitely makes this number a summer staple.

Beverly Feldman Monaco Sandals

This is a more sophisticated choice. If your mom’s taste is more on the eclectic side, then this one she’ll appreciate. The animal print, leather stitching, and jewels on the vamp all blend well in this Beverly Feldman creation. Your mom has to be fashion-froward though to be able to pull this one off.

There are times when I admire Whitney Port’s sense of style, there are times when I don’t at all. In recent sightings of The City‘s star, she quite managed to strike a cord with me. Her look was effortless and fresh. Nothing too made up but far from frumpy either. Just exactly how I like it.

(Photos c/o people.com)

Whiteny Port at the Avon and Elle Party in New York

She was a vision of casual chic in this Rachel Comey blush separates. I love that she chose to wear it with a casual tee wisely accessorised with metallics.

Whitney Port in downtown New York

While strolling downtown, she was spotted in a flowy dress worn under a red boyfriend blazer with a studded bag and jeweled shoes.

If you look closely, she’s strutting the same pair of jeweled beauties during these two sightings. I haven’t ID’ed them but I sure did find some pieces quite similar to it.

Touch Ups Giselle Open Toe d'orsay

This pair is in a different hue as that of Whitney’s but the style is very similar.

rsvp Taran Embellished d' orsay

This pair form rsvp is also a close option.

Coloriffics Desire d' orsay

The criss-cross vamp of this number is close to that of Whitney’s.

These choices may look a little too formal for you but take cue from Whitney Port and you actually can wear them day and night.

What happens when a tribal-inspired design meets chic du jour? You get fabulous shoes of course! This spring, sizzle in these chic pairs with an interesting mix of materials. From Africa to Paris, these jeweled numbers sure have a charm of a world traveler making them must-haves this season!

DSQUARED2 One Band Rope Tie Sandals

Only the DSQUARED twins Dean and Dan Caten can get away with such a creation with panache. The rope detail, the blue nubuck, the color blocking, the platform, the bead decoration. They may all seem too much to handle, but not for the design duo! Such a concoction is so signature of their label. This, is what I call a statement piece.

Frye Bridget Ornament T Strap Sandals

The wood, cork, rafia, and the ornaments on the vamp all blend in with this summer must-have. The eclectic mix of materials makes this pair unique, at the same time easy to use as it is in the earthy neutral shade. Comfort is an added value too!

Antik Batik Clami Suede Sandals with Paillettes

Who says dainty adornments and wood don’t mix? Not Antik Batik designer Gabrielle Cortese. She’s a genius in putting together wood, intricately sewn jewels, and suede. Although I find the height of this a bit low, its still a beautiful pair nonetheless.

Beverly Feldman Dolcetto Wedge

This sure looks like a fun pair to have this summer. The contrast of the rafia covered wedge and platform against the crisp white leather with the colorful stones and studs is a refreshing break. It’s like a cross between Marrakesh and Nice. Two totally different summer destinations but when inspirations are married, this is what you get.

Frye Dolly Jeweled T Strap Sandals

Such a pair signals the coming of summer. The dark jewels are set nicely on the cognac colored leather. It has a tribal air with a hint of adventure to it. Perfect with those white summer dresses we love to don during this time of the year.
