Bejeweled Flats- pairs that can give you style mileage

Apr 3 2010 by Jordan

For the past blog entries, we have featured rhinestone sandals all in heels. But there is one kind that can possibly give you more style mileage than a high heeled pair can. So those of you who value comfort but does not want to sacrifice style, here are some bejeweled numbers that even the pro high heels fashionista cannot resist.

Elie Tahari Lucille Ballet Flat

This suede pair is for those days when you are rushing but still want to look chic and polished.

Apepazza Tormalina Flats

If you’re looking to add more color and sparkle in your closet, then this one’s for you. The gathered suede and square vamp detail with rhinestones make this pair a winner. Whether in a jeans and t-shirt or in an all black ensemble, this lovely number will give one part panache and one part sunshine.

Jeffrey Campbell Jewel G Ballet Flats

If you prefer leather than suede, then this metallic leather flats by Jeffrey Campbell is one to consider. The color of this being pewter is quite versatile. It’s not as boring as black but not as loud as yellow either. You’re on the safe side with this pair.

Caparros Kellen Flats

Go a little wild with this Caparros pair. It features luxurious silk and bold embellishments. It’s definitely not for the faint-hearted but this is a good pair to have when you already own several in solid colors.

Via Spiga Ovida Flats

The peep toe is a variation of the closed ballet flats. This nappa leather number is synonymous to subtle sophistication. I like that the stone embellishments are contrasting but not in an obtrusive manner. It also comes in red and black.

There are a lot more choices out there but so far, these 5 pairs are topping my list. I am a lover of embellished flats and a firm believer that such a pair is a wardrobe staple. You can wear it on weekends, to work, and even to a night out! A good pair will go a long way.
