A lot of celebrities showed up at The Trevor Project’s 2011 Trevor Live! at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles on Sunday, December 4.

36-year old actress Christina Hendricks also attended the event along with her husband Geoffrey Arend.

Hendricks is known as a role model for full-figured women. She was even named as the “sexiest woman in the world” in 2010 in a poll taken by Esquire magazine. I guess she should still get that title, eh? She deserves it, and she’s proving it every time she’s seen on the red carpet.

During the Trevor Live, Hendricks managed to show off her full-bodied curves once again in her body-hugging ensemble. I actually don’t think the outfit, which includes a L’Wren Scott mini sequin cardigan and a matching pencil skirt, suits the red carpet event. Compared to other celebrities who attended, I think Hendricks has the simplest ensemble. I like the cardigan, really, but I just think it’s not the proper attire for the event. It would’ve probably been better if she had worn a red sleeveless dress.

Nevertheless, what completed her look are those sparkling peep toe pumps with bow detailing. I’m not sure about the brand of those shoes but I’ve found some styles that look similar to what she wore. Check these out:

Ballerina flats are already very feminine. It brings a different kind of flair and luscious look to any lady who wears such. Now if ballet flats are adorned with sparkling jewels and crystals, then that would all the more make it look very much feminine and even more elegant.

Kate Spade has always been very modern and feminine in most of their designs; the same goes with Vera Wang’s innovative and feminine designs. What we have here are glimmering ballerina flats from the two brands and it seems to me like the two don’t actually have much difference.

Kate Spade Astro Metallic Suede Ballet Flats, $298

Vera Wang Lavender Label Jeweled Open-Toe Ballet Flats, $275

The Kate Spade Astro Metallic Suede Ballet Flats are made from dark metallic suede and it has a round toe where the jewels are embellished. These jewels come in various shapes and sizes, which are enough to make this even sparkling. On the other hand, the Vera Wang Lavender Label Jeweled Open-Toe Ballet Flats are made from nude leather material with an open toe that’s embellished with sparkling rhinestones that come together to form different sizes of flower shapes.

As you can see with the pricing, there’s also not much difference; and these two are certainly affordable and definitely worth every penny. Both are available at Saks though Vera Wang’s ballet flats aren’t anymore available online.

In the same ranks as the clogs, lace, and the bold wedges, the jeweled sandals are a must-have spring footwear especially among the stars. Case in point, Malin Akerman’s Miu Miu pair at this recent sighting of her.
