40-year-old actress Winona Ryder was spotted at the star-studded Marni at H&M collection launch party celebration held at Lloyd Wright’s Sowden House in Los Angeles, California last Friday, February 17.

This year is going to be a busy year for Ryder. She will voice the character of Elsa van Helsing in the 3D black-and-white stop motion-animated film Frankenweenie, which is a remake of the 1984 short film of the same name, that’s slated to be released on October 5, 2012. Additionally, she will also star in a psychological thriller film The Stare, which is currently in post-production; and also in a drama thriller film The Iceman, which is scheduled in 2013.

Here’s how Ryder looked:

Of course, in line with the celebration, Ryder wore Marni from head to toe. She donned two-tone circle printed half-sleeved coat that’s teamed with matching cropped skinny pants from Marni for H&M collection. She also styled with statement accessories, and she finished her look with a pair of sparkling platform sandals by Marni.

Those sandals are similar to what Carmen Electra wore last year at the Nikki Beach; the only difference is that Carmen’s sandals only have a single bow design while Ryder’s version has triple bow design.

These sandals are made of suede and it features three oversized bows at the vamp. These cotton velvet bows are encrusted with Swarovski crystals, giving the sandals a more stunning look. This is then backed by metal buckled strap to secure, and it’s finished with about 4.7-inch of high blocked heel and about an inch of platform to boost height.

We’re not sure where you can purchase these Marni Triple Bow Sandals but its other version, which is the same as Carmen’s, can be purchased at Marni’s website for ~~$810~~ $405.

Television personality Rocsi Diaz was spotted wearing two different versions of the Christian Louboutin Asteroid Pumps twice just this month.

On February 9, she attended the (Belvedere) RED Pre-Grammys Party held at the Avalon in Hollywood, California and on February 15 she was seen at the MAC Cosmetics Viva Glam Party at Stage 37 in New York City.

I’m not really feeling Rocsi’s outfit here. It looks to me like she’s just wearing a long-sleeved sweater dress with deep v-neck and button up front. She curled her locks but she still looked kind of dull to me. Good thing she got her Christian Louboutin Asteroid pumps on!

This is the version of the Christian Louboutin Asteroid Pumps she wore during the (Belvedere) RED Pre-Grammys Party. As you can see, it has tan leather that’s combined with python leather material, which then makes this fierce. But, what made this look even fiercer are the silver-tone spike studs right at the toe. The spikes are also combined with sparkling crystals for a more stunning look. Somehow, these pumps managed to bring style to her rather relaxed look.

Rocsi Diaz at the MAC Viva Glam Party, February 15

At the MAC Viva Glam Party, Rocsi Diaz looked a lot better compared to her look during the pre-Grammys party although I still do not find her “glam” here. She looked casual in her long-sleeved knitted top that’s teamed with black pants.

This time around, she was seen wearing her black suede and leather version of the Christian Louboutin Asteroid pumps.

I guess this version complemented her getup well. This features a combination of black patent leather and black suede materials, which is more versatile. Instead of silver-tone spikes, these pumps have black [or gunmetal?] spikes design. The crystal embellishments also seem to come in black for a matching look.

Pan Am star Christina Ricci was seen leaving the BBC Radio Studios in London, UK yesterday (February 16).

Christina Ricci’s latest movie Bel Ami, which is a film based on the 1885 French novel of the same name by Guy de Maupassan, also stars Robert Pattinson, Uma Thurman and Kristin Scott Thomas. It is set to be released today (February 17) in Berlin. You might want to watch it since I guess it will be controversial especially when Ricci said that Pattinson is a “good kisser.”

Christina looked sophisticated in her maroon (or is it deep pink?) coat that’s designed with fastening at the front. She then styled it with black leggings and she also carried her black Louis Vuitton bag. Topping off her look is her pair of Alexander McQueen skull peep toe pumps.

The pumps are believed to come from Alexander McQueen’s spring 2012 collection although I know you’ve already seen a similar looking design before from the same brand.

These pumps are made of suede and it only shows classic peep toe pump silhouette, which is not really surprising unlike the shoes from Giuseppe Zanotti’s spring 2012 collection. Nevertheless, you know this is a lot more wearable.

The gold-tone skull detail at the vamp already screams Alexander McQueen! It also shows a spellbinding look as it even comes embellished with Swarovski crystals. Completing this is the towering heel and platform, which measures about 5 1/4-inch and 1-inch, respectively.

I am hoping to see these Alexander McQueen pumps in the red carpet. If you like it, you can get it at Zappos for $1,008. This is also available in black at Ssense for $965.

Giuseppe Zanotti Spring 2012 Collection: Inspired by the 70′s & African Culture

As tinseltown beauties get busy attending various red carpet events in the city, we’re also busy keeping an eye on what shoe they’re rocking. We noticed that a lot have already been wearing designs from the Giuseppe Zanotti Spring 2012 collection; however, there are still a lot of interesting shoes from the collection that we haven’t seen yet in the red carpet.

I couldn’t wait any longer till someone wears them so I decided to feature those shoes that interest me a lot. Now feast your eyes on this dazzling collection that includes sandals, pumps and even sneakers. This is believed to be a collection inspired by “a woman from the 70s, but this woman is contaminated from the African culture and finally I have a lot of African details and colors from the seventies and shapes from the seventies.” However, seeing how these shoes are constructed would make you think that this also has a touch of futuristic and ultra-modern feel.

We’re not anymore going to talk about these two bright sandals here since we’ve already featured these sandals a few days back on our post about Diane Kruger, who was seen wearing the yellow sandal. You can just read here to learn more about these sandals.

Like the blue version of the sandal above, these wedge pumps also feature a cut-in illusion heel and a very high platform that’s about 5 1/2-inch and 2-inch, respectively. This may be an over kill but these are definitely something that could grab attention as you enter the room. Aside from its modern silhouette, these wedge pumps are also embellished with Aurora Borealis crystals, which change color when hit by light. The thin ankle strap should then keep this shoe on your feet even if you feel like you’re about to fall.

By the way, Zappos already has these wedge pumps for $1,975.

These cage sandals here spell sexy. The smooth zigzag curves undoubtedly set a very sexy, feminine arrive; and interesting enough, it’s even embellished with sparkling crystals. The high stiletto heel, which approximately measures about 4 1/2-inch, should then boost your height and make you look more noticeable.

I can’t help but get stunned by these pumps! The multiple colored crystals that are embellished at the back and down the heel seem to show an interesting graphic that can draw attention. These pumps are made of satin; and you can see that it has a flirty peep toe for added feminine style. Now for the sporty ladies who also want to take their style to the next level, these sneakers are just the thing. These aren’t ordinary; as you can see, these are decorated with studs and crystals, and some are even crafted from metallic leather or animal printed materials. Aside from the lace-up fastening, these sneakers also have decorative yet functional zippers that add more style.

A month has passed since the 23rd Annual Producers Guild of America Awards but we’d like to show you how actress Shailene Woodley looked during the event, which was held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in California on January 21, 2012.

Shailene was there to support the producers of her film with George Clooney, The Descendants, as they were nominated for Outstanding Producer of Theatrical Motion Pictures. The movie has won a number of awards including Golden Globe Awards for Best Picture-Drama and for Best Actor-Drama (George Clooney). This film also gave Woodley a lot of nominations and Best Supporting Actress awards from different award-giving bodies.

So anyway, here’s how Shailene Woodley styled herself:

Woodley was seen looking very simple and not really that exciting. There’s still room for improvements anyway since she’s just 20. I just hope she gave justice to her ensemble and accessorized with something that could make her Valentino Pre-Fall 2011 velvet dress a lot more elegant.

Her sandals are undoubtedly interesting, although I’m not sure if the velvet dress and sandals look good together. Those are, by the way, the Ophidia cage sandals by Sergio Rossi. Check out its bright colored version:

These sandals are from the spring/summer 2012 collection. This is most probably the reason why the sandals didn’t match with her Valentino velvet dress (which is, as said, from the pre-fall collection)!

So anyway, as you can see, the sandals have interesting heel cup and vamp design, which features interesting cutouts. Moreover, these are also embellished with crystals, which surely make these sandals eye-catching.

I definitely love these Sergio Rossi Ophidia sandals and I also love the Valentino velvet dress… what I do not love is how Shailene Woodley styled herself and carried these beautiful designs.

By the way, 15-year-old Chloe Moretz was also spotted in these same sandals during the New York City premiere of Hugo back in November 2011. It is a family mystery film, in which she won the People’s Choice Awards for Favorite Movie Star Under 25.

Jennifer Hudson’s Tribute To Whitney Houston at the 2012 Grammy Awards

Jennifer Hudson performed an emotional tribute to the late Whitney Houston at the 54th Annual Grammy Awards held at Staples Center in Los Angeles on Sunday, February 12.

The American Idol season 3 finalist sang Houston’s cover of Dolly Parton’s “I Will Always Love You” following Houston’s death a day before the Grammys. Although she’s reported to be in tears during the rehearsals, Hudson managed to sing the song in a sweet, nice way.

So anyway, let’s put aside Hudson’s performance and let’s rather focus more on her getup.

The 30-year-old recording artist [and actress] looked simple but elegant and sophisticated in her Alexander McQueen Fish Tail knit dress. It somehow displayed her curves, which is a result of [hardwork on] proper diet and perhaps of being a spokesperson for Weight Watchers as well. Last year, she lost a total of 80 pounds; I’m wondering if she was still able to lose some more.

Anyway, for a hint of sparkling look, aside from her jewelries, she also wore a pair of sparkly pumps from Giuseppe Zanotti’s spring 2012 collection.

Country music artist Miranda Lambert arrived at the 54th Annual Grammy Awards with her husband Blake Shelton, who’s also a country artist. The two looked good together as they posed for the shutterbugs at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Sunday, February 12.

Although she’s not nominated for anything that night, Miranda, along with Dierks Bentley, presented the Best Country Album award to Lady Antebellum for “Own the Night.” Shelton was actually nominated for that same award for his album “Red River Blue;” if he won it, perhaps the couple would’ve made an interesting scene. He was also nominated for Best Country Solo Performance and Best Country Song but he lost to Taylor Swift.

Miranda looked stunning in her nude sheer gown with metallic embroideries by Pavoni. It kind of displayed her nice curves without going over the top. She then styled with Tiffany & Co. jewelries, carried a matching clutch, and she finished her entire getup with a pair of Stuart Weitzman Striptease sandals. Good thing there’s an available photo of her while seated beside Lady Gaga as it somehow got her shoes exposed.

Just a month ago, we featured the same Stuart Weitzman sandals as seen on Michelle Trachtenberg, in case you don’t remember. Michelle’s was in silver, and it looks like Miranda has it in metallic gold rendition.

Selita Ebanks was at the Tracy Reese Fall 2012 fashion show while Ashanti was at the Falguni & Shane Peacock fashion show, and both events were held at The Studio at Lincoln Center in New York City on Sunday, February 12. I wonder if they were able to see each other.

But anyway, let’s take a look at how they dressed at the New York fashion week.

She was actually wearing a daring multi-colored sheer dress by Falguni & Shane Peacock, and as you can see, it almost got her private parts exposed. Brazilian model and television performer Camila Alves was busy attending different fashion shows during the New York Fashion Week last week. On February 8, she was seen at QVC’s NY runway show held at Center 548; and on February 11, she was at Monique Lhuillier fall 2012 fashion show held at The Theatre at Lincoln Center in New York City.

These are actually just two of the many runway shows she attended; and on every fashion show, she was sporting chic and fashionable outfits. Let’s now take a look at her style:

Camila Alves was in her fashionable self during the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week; and you know it’s just appropriate! While at QVC’s fashion show, she was wearing a red textured backless dress, which is actually quite simple but definitely chic and sophisticated. On the other hand, while at the Monique Lhuillier show, she was wearing a Monique Lhuillier spring 2012 dress, which is just apt. It also features yellow python belt that reveals Alves’ curves.

For a touch of sparkle, she got her engagement ring flashing! Well actually, although her ring caused quite a stir, another thing that’s sparkling on her is her pair of pumps. I had a hard time looking for those pumps around and thinking about its brand until I remembered I already featured it back in August 2011.

These are undoubtedly the kind of pumps that’s ideal for red carpet events. It’s made of satin and it’s embellished with pave rhinestones and large jewels in multiple colors, which make these pumps totally luxurious. It’s like the pumps worn by the royalties! An ivory version of these pumps are also available but I like the black version more since for me it’s more sophisticated.

Following her throat surgery back in November, Adele has finally made her comeback as she took the stage at the 2012 Grammy Awards to belt out Rolling in the Deep, and she ended up with a standing ovation from the audience that included fellow recording artists.

Aside from her scene stealing performance at the Staples Center on Sunday, February 12, she also stole the show as she bagged a total of six awards including Album of the Year for her second studio album 21 and Record of the Year and Song of the Year for her song Rolling in the Deep. Her other awards include Best Pop Vocal Album (21), Best Short Form Music Video (Rolling in the Deep), and Best Pop Solo Performance (Someone Like You).

Aside from the fact that she sparkled at the event with six awards, she also literally sparkled in her custom Giorgio Armani gown. It features three-quarter length sleeves and black sequins throughout that are covered by black mesh overlay. It also has a cinched waist with black grosgrain panel at the center to reveal her curves.

Her ensemble was pretty simple and I guess it’s really her style. We usually see her in red carpet events wearing 3/4 sleeves black dress, right? So this isn’t any more surprising.

I know that as much as you try to take a peek at her shoes you couldn’t see it, so we’re glad to tell you that she was actually wearing the Christian Louboutin Fifi Pumps.
